Introduction:
First, let’s start by describing our Sites feature and how it can help you and your business have a presence on the internet. ClickFunnels’ Sites come from the idea of having a home site or a main page where you can showcase all your funnels, offers, and media in one place: your Site.
Even if you are only running stand-alone sales funnels, it’s well-known that many potential customers decide to research your products and services before buying. They are looking for your credibility or any possible red flags. The Site enhances your online presence since it tells your potential customers more about you; it becomes your website front (or home) page and should contain crucial information about you, your project, and links to your offers, media, and funnels.
Whether you need a Site or not will depend on your internal business plan and how you want to market your online presence. Here are some examples of customers that might need or not need a Site:
User already has a website and presence on social media, building confidence in their work. They don’t need an extra site and use ClickFunnels' other features as part of their marketing strategy. This user doesn’t require a ClickFunnels Site and uses ClickFunnels for one of the many other features available.
The user recently transitioned from a “brick and mortar” store to selling online. They don’t have any presence online or on social media. This user could benefit from a ClickFunnels Site; they can make the Site their main contact page and put their company information, such as offers, funnels, and media.
Depending on your business requirements or online marketing strategy, you can decide whether you need a Site.
Sites Settings:
To start working with your Site, we recommend you start on the Site Overview page and set up the values under the Settings section.
We already have a technical article that describes your Site Settings features; please go over the features and their descriptions under our article next, and then come back to this guide when you are done learning the settings and what they do:
Now that you know more about the Site Settings feel free to set them according to your business needs. Our next section will review Sites and the Page Editor; stick around to learn more.
Customize your Site:
Once we have finished setting up our Site, the next step is to customize it to match our business information and style.
There are three main ways to customize almost every page in ClickFunnels:
Adding a theme
Select a Style guide
Use the page editor
We have special guides for creating new pages from themes, setting a style guide with your colors, and using the page editor down the line. We won’t cover them in detail here, but we will show you where you can locate those features from your Site Overview page next:
As mentioned under the Site: Settings article, to set a Theme for your Site, navigate to your Site Settings page and locate “Homepage” under the Advanced Settings section. Select the desired Theme from the list and Save the changes.
Styleguides are set similarly. Navigate to your Site Settings, and this time, look for “Style” under Advanced Settings, select the desired option from the drop-down menu, and Update the changes.
To edit your page using the Page Editor, just locate the Customize button on the Site Overview page. Clicking on it will open your page using the Page Editor.
