MessageHub Steps
These steps were created to improve the communication with your customers via MessageHub inboxes. Instead of only sending information, your customers can reply to a particular conversation.
- Send MesageHub Message: Send a message via MessageHub inbox (SMS or Email)
-
Awaiting Response: Pause a Workflow Run until a customer has responded to a message sent via a Send MessageHub Message Step.
The Awaiting Response step can only be added directly after a Send MessageHub Message step.
Send Steps
These steps allow you to send information to your customers via email, and you can also send assets that were previously uploaded to your ClickFunnels account.
- Send Email: The Send Email step allows you to send a single email to any contact that enters the Workflow and reaches the step. You can pick an email template or create a new one, then configure the settings for the email, such as the Subject and From Address.
- Send Assets: Send a previously uploaded Digital Asset to a contact.
Workflow Steps
The workflow steps allow you to keep growing your workflow by adding these additional steps.
- Until Triggered: Pauses a Workflow Run until a specific event is triggered by the contact.
- Conditional Split Path: A Conditional Split Path will create two paths a contact can follow within the Workflow. The path they follow is controlled by setting up the Conditions. Doing so allows you to create different experiences based on the conditions and individual contact.
- Split Test: Use a Split Test to create two paths a contact can follow within the Workflow. The weight given to each path will determine which path they follow based on a percentage. Doing so allows you to compare the performance of different steps/paths.
- Delay: Hold a contact for a set amount of time before continuing to the next step in the Workflow. This is useful for spacing out emails or any other steps you might want to be timed differently.
-
Calendar Event Delay: Hold the customer until a specified time in relation to the calendar event that triggered this workflow.
The Calendar Event Delay step is only available when there’s an attached Event and the Trigger type is an Event Registration.
- Trigger Another Workflow: When a contact reaches this step, send them through the selected Workflow. The contact will continue through the current Workflow simultaneously.
- End: This will be the endpoint in your workflow.
- Conditional Goal: Pull a customer forward in their current path to this point if they meet these criteria.
Internal Steps
The internal steps are actions you can apply to your customers within the platform, such as adding tags or notes, enrolling or unenrolling a contact for a course, etc.
- Tag Contact: Add or Remove tags.
- Add note: Add notes or reminders to your customer’s contact profile.
- Notify: You will receive notifications to your email when a contact meets certain conditions.
- Create/Move Opportunity: Create or move an opportunity to a pipeline stage.
- Enroll: This will enroll customers into a course.
- Unenroll contact: This will unenroll or remove customers from a course.
- Grant Community Access: Give your contact access to a community.
- Revoke Community Access: Remove your contact from a community.
Other Steps
These Other steps allow you to perform actions between ClickFunnels and external applications.
- Exit Dunning: Pull the contact forward to this step in the workflow when an Exit Dunning event is received.
- 3rd party integration: lets you connect your ClickFunnels account to a supported third-party platform such as Aweber, ActiveCampaigns, etc.
- Webhook: allows you to pass information from ClickFunnels to a third-party application that cannot integrate directly with ClickFunnels 2.0.
