Workflows - How to Manage Workflows

This article will provide instructions on creating, updating, deleting, or toggling a Workflow. Workflows allow you to create sequences of actions based on various aspects of a contact’s data. Other shortcuts may allow you to quickly access a Workflow directly from other platform areas, but the same basic process applies.

Requirements

  • An active ClickFunnels 2.0 account
  • Marketing Settings Configured

Access the Workflows Dashboard

  1. From the left side menu, click on Marketing, then click on the Workflows submenu.

Create a New Workflow

  1. Click the Add new workflow button.

  2. Configure the Workflow’s settings. Please see the article about Workflow Settings for details about each option.

  3. Click on Create Workflow.

Update a Workflow

  1. Click on the gear icon of the Workflow to update.

  2. Update any of the Workflow’s settings. Please see the article about Workflow Settings for details about each option.

  3. Click on the Update Workflow button.

Delete a Workflow

This will stop processing all steps for the Workflow.

  1. Click on the gear icon of the Workflow you wish to delete.

  2. Click on the Archive button.

  3. Click the Proceed button to confirm.

Toggle a Workflow

  1. Click on the Workflow you wish to toggle.

  2. Click on the Status toggle at the top right of the page.

    Workflow enabled:

  3. Click the Enable button in the popup when switching on a Workflow. Otherwise, click the Disable button in the popup when switching off a Workflow.

Manually Trigger a Workflow for a Contact

Workflows can also be manually triggered for a contact in the Contact’s area.

  1. On the left side menu, click on Customers.

  2. Then, click on Contacts.

  3. Click on the desired contact.

  4. Click on the Marketing tab and then click the Add to Workflow link.

  5. Select the Workflow you want to trigger for this contact and click on Perform Run Workflow Action.
