Blog : Duplicating or Copying a Post

This article will cover information on how to duplicate a Blog Post. Duplicating a Blog Post can save time when creating a new blog post that is similar. Duplication is also helpful when testing out custom code but not risking corrupted code on the original blog post.

 

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

  • A Blog Post


Duplicating or Copying a Post:

  1. Click the Site & Funnels icon on the left side of the Workspace Dashboard.

  2. In the top left, click the Blog section.

  3. Click the Duplication Icon next to the Blog.

  4. The following popup will appear. Click Proceed to duplicate the blog post or click Cancel to stop the process.

  5. Once Proceed is clicked, the following notification will appear in the top right corner of the screen.

    Note - the duplication time varies depending on the size and complexity of the blog post being duplicated

  6. When the duplication is complete, the following notification will appear. Click View

  7. Once View is clicked, the blog section will update showing the new duplicated blog with “Copy of” in front of the title. It will also appear as a Draft and not public.

  8. Wonderful, you have duplicated a post.
