Email Warm Up

Email Warmup refers to gradually increasing the sending volume of a new email sender. This is how you establish a reputation for a new email account and increase the email sending limit.


Starting with a smaller number, usually sending to known addresses, like friends, family, and loyal customers, who can open and mark your emails as “Safe email.” Then, you can move on to sending to other, more extensive lists, but always be careful to send emails to your customers or prospects first and then gradually send to a bigger audience.


Email warmup aims to demonstrate to ESPs (Email Service Providers) that the sender is legitimate and has engaged subscribers.

Do I Need To Warm Up A Clickfunnels’ Sender Address?

With ClickFunnels 2.0, you can set up email senders through the Marketing Settings, as we saw in our previous lessons, making ClickFunnels your ESP.


As your ESP, we warm up and watch our sender reputation as part of our internal processes to guarantee our customers a good experience. Even though you won’t need to formally warm up your sender email with ClickFunnels, we recommend you follow the warm-up process and start gradually since this will help our overall sender score and reputation with other ESPs.


Email warmup is a crucial practice to ensure successful email deliverability and engagement. By gradually establishing a positive sender reputation, organizations can improve the chances of their emails reaching the recipients' inboxes.
