Unenrolling a contact from a course means removing that contact’s access to all the lessons and modules in that course. There may be times when you need to remove a student’s access to a course, whether due to an accidental enrollment, a change in the student’s status, or as part of your course administration process. This article will guide you through the steps to unenroll a contact from a course as well as manage their access to certain modules, ensuring you can manage your course effectively and maintain control over who has access to your educational content.

Requirements

• An active ClickFunnels account
• An existing Course with enrolled contacts

How to Unenroll a Contact From a Course

Sometimes, you may want to restrict access to certain parts of a course without fully unenrolling a contact. Unlike full unenrollment, managing module access allows you to customize a contact’s course experience without removing them from the course entirely.

1. Navigate to the Courses app on the left side menu. Click here to learn how to add apps to your workspace.
2. Select the course from which you want to unenroll a contact.
3. Click on the Members tab on the course overview page.
4. In the Members section, Click on the contact’s name to open their enrollment details. You can use the search bar if needed.
5. Click the Remove enrollment button at the bottom left of the page.
6. Click Proceed to confirm the action.

Unenrolling a contact will remove their access to the course and may result in the loss of their progress data.

Manage Access to Specific Modules and Nested Modules

1. Open the enrollment details page for the contact.
2. Locate the Course modules section.
3. Use checkboxes next to each module and nested module:
   • Check to grant access.
   • Uncheck to remove access.
4. Click Update enrollment to save your changes.
