Step : How to Create a Delay

Created by Faye BSG, Modified on Tue, 20 Feb 2024 at 05:34 PM by Education Team

This article will discuss how to create a delay between the steps in your workflow. This delay lets you plan the pace at which steps occur, which can help you time emails and status updates. The workflow will only progress once the delay is complete.

Steps are executed from top to bottom. Therefore, any step below a delay is also delayed, including subsequent delay steps.

For example, if your Workflow has two delay steps, both with a delay of 5 minutes, any step below the second delay will be delayed by 10 minutes from the start of the Workflow.
