Affiliate Center - How to Make Products Commissionable

In the Affiliate Center app within ClickFunnels, making products commissionable is a crucial step for enabling affiliates to promote them and earn commissions. Products play a central role in your affiliate marketing strategy, as they are the core items that affiliates will promote to drive sales. How to Turn On Commission in a Product

By default, any new product created in ClickFunnels is set to be commissionable. However, if you have an existing product that does not have the commission option turned on, you can enable it in the product settings. Here’s how you can do that:

1. Create a Product in ClickFunnels:
   • From left side navigation, Click “Products” and then “All Products” menu.

   • Click on Create Product and enter the required details such as Product Name, Price, and Description.

     

   • Choose the appropriate Product Type and configure any additional settings, like inventory and shipping if applicable.

2. Enable Commission for the Product:
   • In the product settings, scroll down to the Commission Settings section.

   • Toggle the Commissionable option to “ON.” This action ensures that affiliates can promote this product and earn commissions. Unchecking the “Commissionable” option will not provide the commission to the affiliates.

     

3. Override Commission Plans for Specific Products:
   • In the Commission Settings section, you have the option to override the default commission plan for a specific product.
   • Click on Add under Commission Plan Product Overrides and select the desired commission plan.

   • Set the commission percentages for Tier 1 and Tier 2 if applicable, and click Create to save changes.

Viewing Commissionable Products in Affiliate Center

Once a product is set as commissionable, it will automatically appear in the Commissionable Products section of the Affiliate Center app.

1. Go to the Affiliate Center app in your ClickFunnels dashboard.
2. Click on Commissionable Products to view a list of all products that are enabled for commissions. You can also set specific overrides for each product in terms of commission plans directly from the this page.

3. Click on the name of the product or adjacent gear icon (⚙️) to edit its commission settings and apply overrides as needed for each affiliate commission plan.
