Requirements
- An active ClickFunnels 2.0 account
Adding New Email Address
- From the bottom left corner, Select Workspace Settings.
- Choose Email Settings.
- Navigate to the Email Addresses tab.
- Click Add email address.
- Fill in the Email Address Details.
- Click Add Email Address.
There’s a uniqueness validation rule for email addresses, meaning you cannot have the same name and email address combination more than once. Attempting to do so will result in an error.
Updating Email Addresses
- On the email addresses page, find the email address you want to update and click the Settings ⚙icon to edit.
- Update the necessary address details.
- Click Update address to save your changes.
Archiving Email Addresses
You can archive email addresses in ClickFunnels even if they are used in a send email step or a broadcast. Archiving ensures the email address is not deleted permanently but is no longer active. This will not affect your ongoing campaigns or broadcasts.
Method 1: Using the Archive Icon
- On the email addresses page, locate the email address you want to archive and click the Archive icon.
- Click Proceed to confirm the archiving process.
Method 2: Using the Settings Icon
- On the email addresses page, find the email address you want to archive and click the Settings ⚙icon to edit.
- Click Archive at the bottom left of the modal.
- Click Proceed to confirm the archiving process.
If an email address is used in the Email Settings, it cannot be archived. If you try to archive it, you will see a tooltip saying, “Please remove the email address from email settings.” Once removed, you will be able to archive it.
If you need to edit a broadcast or a workflow email step that uses an archived email address, you must restore the email address or replace it with an active email address. However, if the email is already set up and scheduled, it will still be sent without any issues.
Restoring Archived Email Addresses
Go to the Archived tab on the Email Addresses page.
- Find the email address you want to restore and click the Restore icon next to it.
- Confirm by clicking Proceed to make the address available for use again.
