SMTP is a system used to send emails from one server to another. Imagine it like the post office but for emails. When you send an email, SMTP helps deliver your email from your email service to the recipient’s email service.

Requirements
- An active ClickFunnels account
- SMTP service account
Access Your SMTP Settings
- From the bottom left corner,choose Workspace Settings.
- Navigate to Email Settings.
- slect on the SMTP Settings tab.
- Click on Add SMTP Setting.
Add New SMTP Setting Details
Enter the following information:
- Add a Nickname for your Integration. This is for internal use only.
- Select the domain used for the From Email Address.
- Select Other from the Server drop-down list.
- Enter Custom SMTP server address.
- For the Port number, add 587
- Add the Username (No capital letters, no spaces)
- As a Password.
- Click on the Add SMTP setting button to confirm your changes.
Your SMTP username and password are specific credentials used to authenticate with your email service provider for sending emails. These details are typically found in your email service provider’s settings under “SMTP” or “Outgoing Mail Server” information. If you can’t locate them, check your provider’s documentation or contact support for assistance.
Edit SMTP setting details
- Click on the Settings ⚙ icon to edit SMTP settings.
- Edit SMTP Details:
- Update the SMTP Nickname.
- Provide the Emails domain.
- Enter the correct SMTP port.
- Provide the SMTP username.
- Input the SMTP password.
Webhooks can only be added if you are using Mailgun or SendGrid. Other SMTP services are not supported for webhook integration in ClickFunnels.
- Click Update SMTP settings to save your changes.
