Funnels: Funnel Step Settings

This article explains the Funnel Step Settings and its available options. In this setting, users can finely tune their pages for optimal performance. With options like name input, URL customization, SEO title, and description fields, and an index toggle for search engine visibility, users can control their page’s appearance and search engine presence.

Requirements

  • An active ClickFunnels 2.0 account
  • At least one funnel step

Accessing the Funnel Step Settings

  1. Click Sites from the main menu.

  2. Click Funnels from the sub-menu.

  3. Click the name of the funnel where the funnel step is located.

  4. Click the three-dot icon in the funnel step thumbnail, then select Settings from the drop-down menu.

Step Settings Options

  1. Name: The name input field is an option that lets you customize the name of the funnel step. Customizing the name makes it easier to identify a funnel step, especially if there are multiple steps within a funnel.

  2. URL: The URL input field contains the path URL of the funnel step. This field contains the name of the funnel step by default. Customize the path URL of the funnel step in this field according to your preferences.

    The system automatically adds alphanumeric characters in the URL if the URL is already used on other funnel steps.

  3. SEO Title: The SEO title input field takes the name of the funnel step by default. Customize this field according to your preferences, which is what will show on search engines when your funnel step is indexed.

  4. SEO Description: The SEO description field helps describe the funnel step.

  5. Index in Search Engine: This toggle adds the funnel step to your sitemap and allows search engines, like Google, to index the funnel step.

  6. Discard and Submit: Click the discard button to cancel all the changes or the submit button to save any changes.
