Site & Funnels: Pages: Index in Search Engines

This article will show how to toggle search engine indexing for a page. Doing so lets you control which pages appear in search engines like Google. This is accomplished using a sitemap file called sitemap.xml.

Requirements

  • An active ClickFunnels 2.0 account
  • A Page

Step by Step Walk Through

  1. Locate the page for which you wish to toggle search indexing.

  2. Click on the gear icon to access the page’s settings.

  3. Scroll down to the SEO & Sharing section.

  4. Click on the toggle next to “Index in Search Engines?”.

    1. When the toggle is disabled, the page cannot be indexed by web-crawlers.
    2. When the toggle is disabled, the page is not added to your sitemap.xml
    3. When enabled, the page is added to the sitemap, allowing search engines to index the page
