Courses - Module Settings

This article covers Module Settings, an option for course management and customization. Users can adjust module information, control publishing status, and customize thumbnail images with ease. Module Settings also provide module URLs, manage upgrade offers, and access advanced settings for a better learning experience.

Accessing Module Settings

  1. Follow Step 1 in the Edit the Settings of an Existing Module section of the How to Manage Course Modules article.

Module Settings

  1. Module Info: The Module Info section allows you to edit the module’s Title, Description, and Current Path. You can also preview the module page by clicking the eye icon or duplicate the module.

  2. Publishing: The Publishing section is where you can set the module’s status. Set the module’s status to Draft if you are still working on the module or Published once you want to publish the module.

  3. Thumbnail Image: The Thumbnail Image section lets you select the thumbnail image of the module while being viewed from the course.

  4. URLs: The URLs section displays URL of the module and lets you view all your other URLs.

  5. Upgrade Offer: The Upgrade Offer is a section where you can add the URL of a sales page that takes your customers to a page where they can purchase your offer to access a specific module.

    Customers who do not have access to the module will be redirected to the Upgrade Offer URL.

  6. Advanced Section: The Advanced Section lets you select a Style and Template Page override. The Style and Template Page that you select will override the default Style and Template Page of the Course Theme.
