Customizing the Course Theme

Customizing the course theme is a great way to personalize the visual appearance of your courses, modules, and lessons. By customizing the theme, you can align the aesthetics of your course content with your brand identity or preferences, enhancing the overall learning experience and engagement for your audience.

• LearningHub View: LearningHub is the default view of a course. This ensures that the course has a minimalistic aesthetic, which helps create a consistent and straightforward learning experience for users.

  • The course URL dynamically updates when the course’s theme is changed.

  1. Click the Customize tab.

  2. Verify that the toggle is switched to “off” to set the course to the LearningHub view.

• Advanced Customization: The Advanced Customization option allows you to choose and customize a preferred theme. This feature is helpful as it empowers you to create a personalized and brand-centric learning environment, enhancing engagement and user experience.

  • Remember that your selected course theme will override your site theme and affect the course, module, and lesson.
  • The course URL dynamically updates when the course’s theme is changed.
  • The course theme can also be set up in the Course Settings under the Theme section. Please visit our article Courses - Course Settings for more information about the course settings.

  1. Click the Customize tab.

  2. Click the toggle to “on” to activate the Advanced Theme, then click the Change Theme link.

  3. Choose your preferred theme from the “Marketplace Themes” or “My Themes”.
