When setting up a Subscription or Payment Plan, you can allow a Trial by checking this box. Upon checking the box, you must set up the trial using the following options.

  • Free Trial: Don’t charge anything for the duration of the trial.
  • Paid Trial: Charge a set amount for the duration of the trial.

In both cases, you must configure the Trial Length. To do so, enter a number into the field and select from Days, Weeks, Months, Quarters, or Years.

You must also configure the Trial Cost when setting up a Paid Trial. This is the amount the customer will be charged when starting the trial.

Setup Fee:

Choose whether or not to charge customers a setup fee. This is a one-time fee charged at checkout. If enabled, you must configure the cost by entering a number in the One Time Setup Fee field.

Visible:

Show or hide a price option for customers to use during checkout. If the box is unchecked, it will not be an option for customers at checkout, effectively disabling the price option without completely deleting it. Likewise, make sure the box is checked to allow customers to pay using the price option.
