This image displays the Checkout Preview feature.

The Checkout Preview feature allows you to preview a specific step from the Checkout element in the Page Editor.

Sometimes, when working on the Checkout Settings, you might not see the settings represented to your left from the page editor view. This is where the Checkout preview comes in handy: to switch to that step and see the changes live.

Checkout Preview

The Checkout Preview is represented with a drop-down menu at the top of every checkout setting. From the drop-down menu, you can select the step you would like to preview.

The steps available in this menu will vary depending on how many steps you have set under the Checkout Steps feature.

This image displays the Checkout Preview menu expanded.

  • Step X of X: This will preview the desired step in the Page Editor. This step will be removed and replaced with the “Guest Checkout” option if only one step is selected for this checkout element.
  • Returning Customer: This option previews the “Saved” view, which is available for returning customers. It pre-loads the customer’s shipping, billing, and payment information.
  • Upgrade / Downgrade: This option previews how this Checkout element will look if a customer visits it and is currently subscribed to one of the products in this Checkout. If available, it offers the customer the option to upgrade or downgrade their subscription.
  • One Time Offer (OTO): This option previews how this Checkout element will look if used on an Upsell step.

Below, you can see an example of how selecting Step 1 will preview it on your funnel.
This is an example of how the Checkout Preview features changes the preview of the checkout live.
