Element Settings: Privacy

This article will cover the Privacy feature from the Checkout Steps Component in the Smart Checkout Element. The Privacy feature allows you to add a “Privacy Disclaimer” to your sales funnel at the bottom of your Smart Checkout. 

This disclaimer is a crucial component of online transactions and sales processes, as it helps build trust with customers by being transparent about data handling practices.

Requirements: 

• An active ClickFunnels 2.0 account
• A ClickFunnels page
• The Smart Checkout element

Privacy Text:

The Privacy Text feature allows you to add a Privacy Disclaimer at the bottom of the step that includes your contact information. The Privacy Text info should be related to your site’s terms about using personal data; this is why it only displays under the step that includes contact information.

This is an example of how it would look in your Smart Checkout element:

*Important Note. The “Privacy Text” feature placement will change depending on how many steps you have selected for your checkout element; it will always be placed in the same step on which you have the contact information.
