Created by Faye BSG, Modified on Thu, 30 Nov 2023 at 12:16 PM by Education Team

This article lists the steps to set your funnel in test mode. Setting your funnel in test mode is critical to test the funnel’s functionality. By default, new Funnels have test mode enabled when they are created.

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

  • An active ClickFunnels account.
  • An active funnel with active pages.

Step 1: Setting Your Funnel to Test Mode

  1. Click Site & Funnels on the left-hand menu.

  8. The system displays the first page of your funnel by default. When viewing Order pages, the system displays a yellow banner with the test card info at the top. Note that the yellow banner is often not shown on other page types (e.g., optin page, thank you page, etc.).

Step 2: Verifying Test Data

Your next action after testing your funnel pages is to verify the test data that you collected. There are different ways to do this, but we will demonstrate the quickest way in this step.

  1. Return to the funnel builder, then click the Analytics Icon (button) at the top-right of the page.

  2. Click the “Opt-Ins” option to view the test optin results on a new tab or the “Orders” option to view the test purchases on a new tab. Important reminder: A test purchase from an order page is required to display analytics data in the “Orders” option.

Congratulations! You have reached the end of this article. You should now be able to switch your funnel into test mode, then locate the test data using analytics.
