Countdown Events: Event Types

This article will explain the different Event Types and settings when creating or editing a Countdown Event. The three types available are One-Time, Recurring, and Hybrid.

Requirements:

  • An active ClickFunnels 2.0 account
  • An Event

Event Types:

The three Event Types are described below. Their respective settings are also listed for convenience.

Start Time:

Type or select the exact starting time for this event.

Time Zone:

Indicate which Time Zone the Start Time is using.

Start Date:

When setting up a One-Time Event, select the exact starting date for this event.

Hybrid Type:

When setting up a Hybrid Event, select the unit for the Event interval. Currently, the options are either Day of Week or Day of Month.

Day Of…:

When setting up a Hybrid Event, this option will vary depending on the Hybrid Type setting that was selected.

Day of Week: If you selected the Day of Week Hybrid Type, you can pick which day of the week your Event will occur (Sunday through Saturday).

Example:


Day of Month: If you selected the Day of Month Hybrid Type, you can pick a number to indicate which day of the month your Event will occur (one through thirty-one).

Recurrence Interval:

When setting up a Recurring Event, type in the number to indicate the time between each occurrence. The number here will be counted in Recurrence Units.

Recurrence Unit:

When setting up a Recurring Event, the unit selected here will be what is counted as the time between each occurrence as determined by the Recurrence Interval. Currently, the options are minutes, hours, or days.
