In this article, we delve into the Unauthorized Redirect setting located within the course settings. This setting enables you to send unenrolled visitors to the page where they can register through whatever method you have set up. If this setting is left blank, unenrolled visitors will be directed to the root path of the domain.
Important Note: Please see our article about Enrolling Users Into a Course to learn more about the various ways you can choose to enroll your users.
Requirements:
- An active ClickFunnels 2.0 account
- An existing course
- A product and order page or an opt-in page
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Accessing Course Settings:
- Click “Sites” from the main menu.
- Select “Courses” from the sub-menu.
- Click the “gear” icon across the course’s title.
Free Courses (Optin):
If you offer a free course, find the URL of your opt-in Funnel used to enroll users, then copy and paste that URL into the unauthorized redirect field. Click this link for more information about finding and copying your funnel URL.
Paid Courses (Order):
If you offer a paid course, you have a few options. You can find the URL of your Funnel used to sell access and enroll users, then copy and paste that URL into the unauthorized redirect field.
Otherwise, when enrolling users through a Product Purchase Action, you can find the URL of the Product page in the Product’s Settings, then copy and paste that URL into the unauthorized redirect field instead.
