This article is about the different types of events under the appointments feature. Selecting the correct type of event for an appointment is a helpful way of identifying the preparation that you and your team need to do before the scheduled appointment.

- A third-party calendar app connected to your ClickFunnels account
Types of Events
The different types of events in calendar appointments cater to various needs, whether nurturing client connections, hosting webinars, directing group interviews, or efficiently distributing sales appointments. Each type offers unique solutions to optimize time management and enhance interactions.
In the Event Types section, click on Add Event Type.
A new tab will appear showing the different Event Types
One-on-One This event is excellent for 1:1 interviews, sales, or coffee chats with a prospect.

Group (Coming Soon) This type of event is ideal for webinars or online classes with more than one prospect in the appointment.
Collective This is preferable for group interviews or group sales appointments with multiple hosts and one prospect in the appointment.

Round Robin: This event evenly distributes incoming sales appointments to everyone in the sales team when there is more than one salesperson and one prospect in the appointment.

Event Name
This setting is the title of the event. Type the title of your event according to your preferences.

Domain
This dropdown allows selecting the domain used in the event’s URL. Click the dropdown, and then select your preferred domain.

Scheduling Link URL
This setting is an input field that you can customize according to your preference, which is going to become the event’s link URL. Type your preferred link in this field.
Important Note: The path extension automatically prefills with the Event Name.

Description
This is an optional setting to share relevant information about the event that prospects should know.

Scheduling Page Primary Color
This setting controls the hover state color of the scheduling page. Select your desired color.
Example:
Hide "Scheduling by ClickFunnels badge
Toggle this button if you want to show or hide the "Scheduling by ClickFunnels badge."

Scheduling Page Image / Logo
This setting is for the event logo or image. Click the Select Image button to upload or search for an image from third-party websites.
Example:
Date Range Type
This setting controls the time span when prospects can schedule an event. The three date range options are:
Relative: This date range creates dynamic filters that adjust automatically based on the current date or the date of the reference point.
Specific Date Range: Select a range when prospects can schedule an event according to your preference.
Indefinitely: Allow prospects to schedule an event indefinitely according to their preference.
Days into the future
This setting is tied to the Relative Date Range Type. Enter a numeric value in the input field or click the arrow icons on the right-hand side of the input field to select the number of days in the future when the event will be available for scheduling.

Available Date Range
This setting is connected to the Specific Date Range under Date Range Type. Type the range in the input field or select the range when prospects can schedule an event.

Duration
This setting refers to the amount of time the scheduled event is going to take. Click the dropdown, then select the amount of time according to your preference.
Example:
Event Host(s)
Event Host: This is an option to select the staff you want to schedule your event with. For instance, if you want to enable customers to book a one-on-one session with John Doe, you would pick John Doe as the event host and select one of John Doe’s availability schedules to use for that specific type of event.

+ Add a Host: This setting allows you to add more hosts to the scheduled event.
Clicking the +Add a Host link creates a new “Host” section where you can configure their host settings. On the other hand, click the “x ” icon at the upper-right corner of the host’s section to remove them.Example:
Allow Staff Selection
This feature is only available for Round Robin.
This setting allows prospects to select their preferred staff member. When this feature is switched off, the system automatically assigns a staff member to a prospect. Click the toggle on the right-hand side to turn this option on or off.

Reschedule Round Robin
This feature is only available for Round Robin.
Switch this setting to on to assign a rescheduled event to the next available host. The event will still be assigned to the same host if this setting is switched off. Click the toggle on the right-hand side to switch this setting on or off.
Allow Guests
This setting is to allow prospects to invite “guests” when they schedule an event.
Please use a comma to separate the email addresses of guests.

Buffer Before
This setting controls the buffer time before the start of the event. Type an amount or click the arrow icons to adjust the amount. Click the drop-down menu on the right of the “arrow” icons to change between minutes or hours according to your preference.
Buffer After
This setting controls the buffer time after the start of the event. Type an amount or click the arrow icons to adjust the amount. Click the drop-down menu on the right of the arrow icons to change between minutes or hours according to your preference.
Show available start times in increments of
This setting controls the displayed start time on the schedule page. Type an amount or click the arrow icons to your preferences. Click the drop-down menu on the right of the arrow icons to change between minutes or hours according to your preference.
Example
Minimum Notice Interval Count
The user will not see any time slots that start before the specified period and occur after the current time when they make their slot selection. Type an amount or click the arrow icons to your preferences. Click the drop-down menu on the right of the arrow icons to change between minutes or hours according to your preference.
Example
The available slots in the screenshot above display slots for Tuesday, 26th September. The selected date under Available Date Range was “09/25/2023 - 9/30/2023”.
Maximum Per Day Per Contact
This setting controls the number of times in which an individual prospect can schedule this event type per day. Type or click the “arrow” icons to select a value.
Automatic Timezone
Select the timezone or set the timezone to automatic by switching the toggle on the right-hand to on or off.
If the event is in person, we recommend switching the toggle to “off” and selecting the appropriate timezone of the physical meeting place. Otherwise, leave the toggle to “on” for Automatic Timezone.
Require Payment
Click the toggle to switch this setting to “on” or “off”. This setting controls whether or not a payment is required to schedule an event.
- PaymentsAI must be configured first to set up and use paid events.
- The Product drop-down only shows when this setting is switched on. Click the drop-down and select the product that needs to be purchased.
- An invoice link (button) will be created by the system when this setting is “on” that holds the scheduled slot for 10 minutes. The system voids the invoice and the event reservation if the invoice is unpaid.
