When creating a blog post, you may wish to add a Post Summary element. This element provides a useful summary of your blog post, allowing someone to tell at a glance whether the article in question is relevant to them. This element will auto-fill from the summary field in the blog post settings, but you can add this element before filling in this field.
Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:
-
A blog post created in ClickFunnels
-
(optional) A summary of the blog post created in the blog post settings. (Check out Adding a Post Title and Summary for more information)
Step by Step Walk Through:
-
From your blog dashboard, you can access the blog post editor by clicking on the title of the blog post that you wish to edit.
-
On the editor page, select Add Element, either in an empty row or below an existing element on the page.
-
On the right-hand side of the screen, scroll down until you see the Summary element under the Blog: Posts heading. Click on this element to select it.
-
The element will appear where you selected Add Element in your blog post. You may now drag and drop it as you would any element to adjust its position on the page. The element will auto-populate from the Summary field in your Blog Post Settings on the live and preview versions of the page.
-
Congratulations! You have now successfully added a Post Summary to your blog post. Visitors to your page will see your provided summary text.
If you have any questions about this, please contact our Support Team by clicking the Submit a Request button at the top right-hand corner of this page and then the Help button at the bottom left of the ClickFunnels Page.
