Adding a Universal Section

Universal Sections in ClickFunnels allow you to create reusable sections that can be added to multiple funnel pages. This feature helps streamline design updates across funnels, ensuring consistency and efficiency in your workflow.

Overview of Universal Sections

Universal Sections allow you to create a section — such as a header, footer, or promotional banner — that can be reused across multiple pages. This eliminates the need to manually recreate or update sections individually on each page.

When you update a Universal Section, changes automatically apply across all funnel pages where the section is used, making it an ideal solution for elements that require uniformity across your site. This feature not only saves time but also ensures a consistent design experience for your visitors, improving both branding and workflow efficiency.

Adding Universal Sections to Pages

  1. Open the page editor for the page where you would like to add the Universal Section.
  2. Click the Add Section button in the editor.
  3. Select Universal from the left-hand menu.
  4. Browse through your saved Universal Blocks to find the universal section you previously created.
  5. Click the section to add it to your page.

Saving a Section as a Universal Section

  1. Hover over the section in the page editor to reveal the toolbar.

  2. Click the Save ? icon.
  3. Name the section, select a Folder (optional), and check the Make Section Universal box.
  4. Click Save Section to finish.

Managing Universal Sections

You can manage your Universal Sections from the My Sections tab in the page editor, allowing you to organize, rename, or delete sections as needed.

  1. In the page editor, click the Add Section button.
  2. Select Universal from the side menu to view all your saved Universal Sections.
  3. To manage a section, click the three dots next to the section’s thumbnail.
  4. From the pop-up window that appears:
    • To rename the section, edit the Name field and click Update.
    • To edit the section’s content, click Edit.
    • To delete the section, click Delete and confirm the action.
