In this article, we will cover an Introduction to Payments AI. Below is a video to help you get started!

Merchant accounting can be scary. Payments can suddenly stop going through if the company decides to shut down your account. It can also be difficult to reach customers in some countries. Payments AI provides features that solve these problems and allow connecting with multiple payment gateways.

Important Note: Each workspace needs its own Payments AI account. It is not possible to use the same Payments AI account in multiple workspaces.

Complete Multi-Gateway Payment Orchestration

Payments AI will be the central location for handling payments. Payments AI itself can be used as a payment gateway to process those payments without any third-party service. Third-party payment gateways can still be used to process payments by connecting your accounts with those services. Some of the supported payment gateways are:
  • Payments AI
  • Stripe
  • PayPal
  • Coinbase
  • Klarna
  • NMI

Advanced Subscription Dunning

If a credit card gets declined, you can set up multiple rules to handle each scenario. Rules can be set up per product, customer type, or other requirements using different profiles.

You can bill partial amounts or full amounts on specific dates. You can even have a coupon applied at specified points.

Beyond that, backup payment methods can be configured and automatically used if the primary method fails.

Gateway Routing

Payments AI provides the ability to send a percentage of sales to each gateway. If needed, you can set a volume limit on a specific gateway, preventing your accounts from reaching their limits and being frozen.

Important Note: Each workspace needs its own Payments AI account. It is not possible to use the same Payments AI account in multiple workspaces.
