[Archived] - Podcast link element Overview

This article will demonstrate how to use the Podcast link element in your courses.

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

• A Course created
• An Audio file

Adding an Audio File to your account:

1. From the left side menu, click on Settings
   
   
2. Click on My Assets
   
   
3. Click on the Audio tab
   
   
4. Click on Upload audio
   
   
5. Drag and drop your audio file
6. Add a name to your File
7. Click on Create audio
   
   

Adding an Audio to your Lesson

1. From the left side menu, click on Site and Funnels
   
   
2. Click on Courses
   
   
3. Click on your course
   
   
4. Click on the Lesson’s Settings (gear icon)
   
   
5. Click on Expand Audio settings
   
   
6. Select your audio
   
7. Click on Update Lesson
   
   

Adding the Podcast link Element 

Adding the podcast link element to your Lesson template will allow you to pull the audio of each lesson automatically.

If you don’t have audio in every lesson, you might want to add the Podcast link to only the Lessons that have audio added.

Adding the Podcast link to your Lesson template

1. While being on your Course, click on Customize
   
   
2. Click on Templates
   
3. Click on the Default Lesson page
   
   
4. Once inside the editor of the Lesson template, click on Add element
   
   
5. Click on Course
6. Select Podcast Link
   
   
7. Once you have added the Podcast link element, save the changes
   
   

Adding the podcast link to the content of each Lesson

1. While being on your Course, locate the lesson where you want to add the Podcast element.
   
2. Click on the Edit content link to open the editor page
   
   
3. Add a new element in the Lesson content area
   
   
4. Click on Course
5. Select Podcast Link
   
6. Once you have added the Podcast link element, save the changes
