Modified on Fri, 6 Oct, 2023 at 6:38 AM

In this document, we will explore how to set the border color on a blog post Image Element. This can help you to make a consistent look to your pages, as well as making some images stand out.  If you set up a border for an image without specifying a color, it will default to black.

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

  • A page
  • A section and row on the page
  • A blog post image element on the page

Step by Step Walk Through:

  1. Go to the editor on the page on which you wish to change or set the border color for the blog post image element.

  2. Mouse over the image and click on the gear icon.

  3. Scroll down in the pop-up window until you find the toggle for border.  If you have not already done so, turn it on.

  4. In the border settings, you will see the color setting.  Click on it to open it.

  5. You can now use the color tools to set the border color in the following ways:
    1. Use the shade chart to select the shade for your border color.
    2. Use the color slider to select the color for your border color.
    3. Use the transparency slider to select how transparent or opaque your border color is.

  6. When you are satisfied with your changes, click anywhere outside of the pop-up window to close it.  Don’t forget to save your changes.

  7. Congratulations!  You have successfully set the border color for the blog post image element.
