Modified on Fri, 6 Oct, 2023 at 6:38 AM

In this document, we will explore how to set the alt text for a blog post image elementAlt Text is text that can help to describe images on your site, making it accessible for visitors with sight disabilities.  Descriptive alt text can also help search engines to index your page.

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

  • A page
  • A section and row on the page
  • A blog post image element on the page

Step by Step Walk Through:

  1. Go to the editor on the page on which you wish to change or set the alt text of the blog post image.

  2. Mouse over the image and click on the gear icon.

  3. In the pop-up window, find the Blog Post Image Alt Text field.

  4. Write a brief description of the image in the Alt text field.  This will become the Alt text for this image element.

  5. When you are satisfied with your changes, click anywhere outside of the pop-up window to close it.  Don’t forget to save your changes.

  6. Congratulations!  You have successfully set the Alt Text for the Blog Post Image element.
