Editor : How to Set the Left Margin for a Bullet List Element

In this document we will explore how to set the left margin on the bullet list element.  This will allow you to better format pages using this element, which can help to create the page layout that you desire.  The bullet list element uses these margins to determine the distance between the element and the left-hand side of the row.

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

• A page
• A section and row on the page
• A bullet list on the page

Step by Step Walk Through:

1. Go to the editor on the page on which you wish to change the icon margin of the bullet list.
2. Mouse over the bullet list element and click on the gear icon.
   
   
   
3. In the pop-up window, find the heading for List Options, and select the Left Margin.
   
   
   
4. You can now set the width of the Left margin by one of two means:
   1. Moving the slider to the right to increase the margin, or to the left to decrease the margin.
   2. Setting the desired width in pixels by filling in the field to the right of the slider.
      
      
      
5. When you are satisfied with your changes, click anywhere outside of the pop-up window to close it.  Don’t forget to save your changes.
   
   
6. Congratulations!  You have successfully set the icon right margin for the bullet list element.)
