Editor : How to Set the Image Alignment for a Blog Post Image Element

Modified on Fri, 6 Oct, 2023 at 6:38 AM

In this document we will explore how to set the image alignment for a blog post image element in the editor.  Setting the alignment of an image can help refine your page's formatting.  An image that is aligned left, right or center will be placed there in the column that the element occupies.

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

  • A page
  • A section and row on the page
  • A blog post image element on the page

Step by Step Walk Through:

  1. Go to the editor on the page on which you wish to change or set the alignment for the Blog Post Image element.

  2. Mouse over the image and click on the gear icon.

  3. Scroll down in the pop-up window until you find the heading for image settings.  You will find the image alignment settings in this area.

  4. You can use this tool to justify your image in the following ways:
    1. Left alignment will shift the image to the left hand side of the column or row.
    2. Center alignment will align the image to the middle of the column or row.
    3. Right alignment will align the image to the right of the column or row.
  5. When satisfied with your changes, click anywhere outside the pop-up window to close it.  Don’t forget to save your changes.

  6. Congratulations!  You have successfully set the Image alignment for the Blog Post Image element.
