Modified on Wed, 22 Nov, 2023 at 8:56 PM

In this document, we will explore how to set the height and width of a Blog Post Image Element. This can help you to format your image to set the layout of your page and to make your image fit your aesthetic. Setting the height and width of your image element can also affect the appearance of the image.

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

  • A page
  • A section and row on the page
  • A blog post image element on the page

Step by Step Walk Through:

  1. Go to the editor on the page on which you wish to change or set the height and width for the Blog Post Image element.

  2. Mouse over the image and click on the gear icon.

  3. Under the heading marked Size & Position, locate the Image Width and Image Height sliders.

  4. You can adjust the Width and Height of the image in the following ways:
    • Using the image width slider, you can make the image element narrower by sliding the slider to the left or wider by sliding it to the right.  You can also input a value into the field that is between and 100%.
    • Although it is by default set to auto, you can manually control the height by clicking on the drop-down menu to the right of auto.

This will allow you to input a height in either percentage or in pixel count.

You can also set the width by pixel count using the drop-down menu on the Width settings.

  5. When satisfied with your changes, click anywhere outside of the pop-up window to close it.  Don’t forget to save your changes.

  6. Congratulations!  You have successfully set the height and width for the Blog Post Image element.
