Element Settings: Border

This article will cover Border settings that are available for elements on your pages. Borders add a visual separator to the edge of elements, helping to make them stand out or be more visible.

Important Note: Border settings must be enabled by clicking on the toggle.

Style:

Pick between one of the preset styles that are defined in your active Style Guide.

Choosing a preset style will disable all manual settings. However, you will have the option to either edit the style for the whole Style Guide or simply override individual settings for the selected style for this element only.

Borders:

Toggle the border for each edge of the element. Clicking on the center option will toggle all edges.

Important Note: Toggling every edge off will disable the border.

Border Style:

Choose the type of border to use.

  1. Solid
  2. Dashed
  3. Dotted

Color:

Click on the color bar to adjust the border color and opacity of the border.

Stroke Size:

Set the thickness of the border.

To adjust the Stroke Size, drag the slider or enter a number into the field to the right.

Important Note: Setting the Stroke Size to an invalid value or zero will disable the border.
