This article explains the options found in the course sidebar settings. The course sidebar settings are your options to customize your sidebar design in your course.

Render Mode:
This setting changes the design of the course sidebar when viewed by a customer. The two options found in render mode are (a.) Classic, and (b.) Ascension.
Example:
Width:
Move the slider to the left to reduce or move it to the right to increase the width of the course sidebar. Alternatively, enter your desired numeric width in the px input field.
Padding Top/Bottom:
Move the slider to the left to reduce the padding or to the right to increase the padding of the course slider. Alternatively, type the numeric padding next to px according to your preferences.
Vertical Spacing:
Adjust the slider to the left to reduce or to the right to increase the vertical space of every individual line of the course sidebar.
Example:
Background Color:
Click the color bar to adjust the background color of the course sidebar according to your preferences.
Example:
Mobile Hamburger Color:
The color bar icon lets you pick the color of the hamburger menu, which is seen when viewing the course on a mobile device.
Example:
Left Indentation:
Adjust the slider to the left or the right to indent the menu and submenu to the left or right of the course sidebar. Alternatively, enter a numerical value next to px to adjust the indent of the course sidebar.

Disable Icons:
This setting hides or displays the icons next to the menu and sub-menu.

Content Depth Truncation:
This setting allows you to choose how many sub-modules or lessons will display in the course sidebar.

Gap Between Modules:
Move the slider to the left or right to adjust the space between modules. Alternatively, type a numeric value next to px according to your preferences.
Important Note: This setting only becomes available when the render mode is set to classic.
Example:
Show Only Content From Current Main Module:
Use this setting to show or hide the other modules of the course except for the main module.
