Element Settings: Text Area Settings

This article will go over the main settings of the Text Area Element. This element helps collect information from your visitors. The text area provides a space where the visitor can type information, and you can edit this text area to make it fit the design of your page.

Requirements: 

  • An active ClickFunnels 2.0 account
  • A page
  • A Text Area Element

Input type:

Select Custom type for the Input type.

Important Note: This is a mandatory step. If it’s not selected, you will see a warning:

Custom type:

Add a label for the Custom Type. For example, if you ask for the customer’s opinion, you can label it “Opinion.”

Required:

When selecting Required, the customer must fill in the text area to move to the next page. Selecting Not Required allows them to move to the next page without filling in the information.

Important note: The information won’t be saved if you select Not Required.
