Element Settings: Video Settings

This article covers the settings under the various video elements. These settings help customize the video on your webpage. Adding a video element on your webpage is a great way to highlight various aspects of your organization that is sure to attract the attention of your target audience.

Requirements: 

  • An active ClickFunnels 2.0 account
  • One of the supported elements

Video URL:

The video URL setting is where the URL of your hosted video is added. Videos hosted on Youtube, Vimeo, Voomly, Wistia, HTML5, and Custom Embed are the different types of video URLs that can be added in this setting.

Video Controls:

This setting allows your audience to control the playback of the video on your webpage. Click the “checkbox” to enable or “uncheck” it to disable this setting.

Autoplay:

The autoplay setting is a drop-down menu to set up the video to automatically play when the webpage loads or not.

Lazy Loading:

Lazy loading is a setting that helps optimize the loading and rendering of videos on a webpage. In this setting, videos are not loaded immediately when the webpage loads. Instead, only a placeholder image or preview is displayed. The actual video only loads and renders when the video becomes visible on the page - typically when scrolling down the page.

Block Pause:

This setting controls whether the video can be “paused” or not after playing the video.

Important Reminder: This feature is only for “desktop” devices. “Yes” will enable autoplay on desktops.

Unmute Label:

The Unmute Label is a setting that adds the “unmute icon” on top of the video telling audiences to click to play and unmute the video.

Important Reminder: Only works with “Autoplay” set to “On”, “Block Pause” set to “No”, and “Controls” turned “Off”.

Unmute Label Text:

The unmute label text is a setting that is tied to the unmute label. This means, Unmute label needs to be enabled (set to “yes”) to activate this setting. This setting adds customized text together with the unmute label icon on top of the video.

Branding:

The branding setting controls adding or removing the branding logo of the video.

Important Reminder: Set “Block Pause” to “No” and “Video Controls” to “On” to activate “Branding”.

Optional Width and Height:

Adjust the width or height of the video according to your preferences using the width and height settings.

Title:

The Title setting is primarily intended for accessibility purposes, such as for users who may be using assistive technologies like screen readers.

Overlay Text:

Overlay text is a setting that adds customized text on top of the video. This setting is commonly used to invite your audience to “take action” and “click” to play the video.

Important Reminder: Set “Block Pause” to “Yes” to “activate” “Overlay Text”.

Backdrop Color:

Click the backdrop color bar to select the color and opacity of the area surrounding the pop-up video.

Important Note: This setting is only available to the Video Settings Component of a Video Popup Element.

Overlay Display:

Click the Show option to display a preview of the pop-up video, the background color, and other customization applied to the element. Otherwise, click the Hide option to close the preview of the pop-up video.
