# How to Manage Course Lessons

This article explains how to manage course lessons, which are designed to empower you with essential skills for optimizing the learning experience of your course. With detailed references on accessing, adding, duplicating, and deleting lessons, you can easily navigate your course content and customize the learning journey of your course.

## Requirements

- An active ClickFunnels 2.0 account
- An existing Course
- An existing Module
- The Courses App [(Adding Apps to Your ClickFunnels Workspace)](/v1/docs/adding-apps-to-your-clickfunnels-workspace)

## Accessing Course Lessons

1. Click **Courses** from the **APPS** navigation menu.

2. Click the **Title** of the course.

> - The course lessons are displayed once you enter the course dashboard. Optionally, click the “**Expand All**” button to the left of the “**Add Content**” button to expand the modules and display lessons.

## Adding a New Lesson

1. Click the **Add Content** button at the right-hand side of the page, then select **Add new lesson** from the drop-down menu, or click the **Add Content** link to the right of each module, then select **Add Lesson** from the drop-down menu to add a new lesson. ![Screenshot of the add content button at the right-hand side of the page and add content link.](https://assets-education.clickfunnels.com/cf2-docs/courses/manage-lessons/add-new-lesson2.png)
2. Optionally, click the **Parent Module** drop-down to verify the correct Module where the lesson will be added is correct, then fill out the **Title** field.
3. Click **Create lesson** to save your changes.

## Editing the Lesson Settings and Content

2. You will now find yourself in the **Lesson Editor** where you can edit the **Lesson Settings** and **Lesson Content**. Please visit our article [Lesson Settings](/v1/docs/course-lesson-settings) for more information about the options in the lesson settings.

> - The **Lesson Settings** are located on the left-hand side of the lesson editor where you can customize the **Title**, **Description**, **Multimedia**, and **Path** of the lesson.
> - The **Lesson Editor** is located at the center, where you can add the **Sections**, **Rows**, and **Elements** for the lesson.
> - **Add a Lesson** from inside the lesson editor by clicking the **Add Lesson** button at the top of the modal.
> - All new lessons **created from inside the lesson editor** are placed last in the lesson’s order. Arrange the lesson’s order by left-clicking, then holding and dragging the lesson from the course dashboard.
> - Quickly jump and edit lessons by clicking the “**previous**” or “**next**” arrowa to the left of the **Add a Lesson** button.

## Duplicating a Lesson

1. Click the **three-dot** icon on the right of the lesson you want to duplicate, then select **Duplicate Lesson** from the drop-down menu.
2. Click the **Proceed** button to duplicate the lesson or the **Cancel** button to cancel any changes.
3. A **banner** will appear at the top-right corner of the page explaining that the duplicated lesson will appear once the duplicate is completed.

## Deleting a Course Lesson

1. Click the **three-dot** menu icon on the right of the lesson you want to delete, then select **Delete Lesson** from the drop-down menu.
2. Click the **Proceed** button to delete the lesson. Otherwise, click the **Cancel** button to cancel any changes.

> - Deleting an lesson is **permanent** and cannot be undone.
3. The app displays a **confirmation banner** stating that the lesson has been deleted.
